We recently completed the second week of the 2019-2020 school year. It has been a great start to the school year for LHS faculty, staff, and students. As someone who competed against LHS in athletics as a student at Maiden High School, I have been pleasantly surprised with the warm culture at our school. I love our school community, especially our students and how diverse they are in many facets. As the school year ramps up our focus as a school will be on making sure that we are delivering core instruction, and providing our students with multiple opportunities to master the content. We also will be analyzing the effectiveness of smart block and if it is serving its intended purpose. As a school we will continue to analyze how we can better serve each student because we understand that they deserve the best educational experience.
